Scott started the 55-22 defeat to World Cup winners New Zealand on Sunday and, with ranking points available ahead of the next showpiece in 2015, he's doubly determined to put that result right.
"We've got pressure on us to get ranking points to put us in the top eight for the World Cup seedings at the end of the year so we need to beat South Africa and we need to beat Tonga the following week," said Scott.
"We're really looking for a win and the build on that performance against New Zealand.
"It's a bit odd coming to this gym with the Scotland team rather than with my mates, it's a really great facility.
"It's definitely the best gym in Edinburgh, especially for weightlifting and cardio, it's perfect for what we need and it's good to get away from Murrayfield and get some different surroundings."
