Everyone at PRO12 Rugby is deeply saddened by the passing of Munster head coach Anthony Foley. Our deepest sympathies and condolences go to his family and all those connected to Munster Rugby during this time.
Anthony Foley, who won 62 caps for Ireland, played 69 matches in the Celtic League, scoring nine tries.
He played in the first Championship final in 2001 and was a title winner in 2003 and also captained the Munster team which won the Celtic Cup in 2005.
In a celebrated career Foley also won the European Cup, a Triple Crown with Ireland in 2004 and served his country as forwards coach in 2012.
