He played in the first Championship final in 2001 and was a title winner in 2003 and also captained the Munster team which won the Celtic Cup in 2005.
In a celebrated career Foley also won the European Cup, a Triple Crown with Ireland in 2004 and served his country as forwards coach in 2012.
