This is what the 12 teams are playing for - the Guinness PRO12 trophy, which one team will raise in celebration in May after the final.
Trophy Stats:
- The trophy is 61cms high
- 8.3 kilos of sterling silver were used to make the trophy
- Four craftsmen worked on the trophy which took 72 hours to make in total
- The trophy was designed by Jo Hemsley, a freelance designer who is currently studying at the Royal College of Art in London
- The design is very contemporary and created to make a statement, to be different to the usual trophies in rugby, and to become an iconic image that is clearly identifiable as the trophy in Celtic Rugby
- The trophy was made solely in the London workshops of Thomas Lyte and bears the London Assay Mark.
