Ospreys, who tripped up 30-32 at home to Edinburgh on Saturday evening will hand the Magners League title to Munster if they fail to achieve a maximum point victory in this match against the Dragons. Ospreys have won their last three encounters against fellow Welsh regions.
Newport Gwent Dragons two match losing streak ended with their 27-14 victory over Connacht at Rodney Parade on Sunday. The Dragons only away win in their last nine outings in all competitions was 25-20 at Glasgow in the Magners League on 9 January.
Dragons have won their last two games against Ospreys and are going for a first ever season's double over their neighbours to the west. Dragons have lost all five previous matches they have played on Ospreys soil.

Cardiff Blues appear in the semi-finals of the Heineken Cup for the first time just three days before this fixture. The Blues have won three of their last four games in the Magners League, whilst their only loss at the Arms Park in their last eight games in all competitions was 12-16 to the Ospreys on New Year's Eve.

The Blues have won their last four matches against Dragons, and the Men of Gwent's only previous win at the Arms Park came in their very first visit in November 2003.
