Rising talents Gavin Evans, Darren Daniel and Ceiron Thomas have also penned three-year extensions while the Scarlets are delighted to capture the signatures of two of Wales's brightest stars, hooker Ken Owens and centre Jon Davies who have also signed on for three years.
Second row Vernon Cooper and No8 Nathan Thomas have signed one-year extensions to their contracts while the current captain of the Welsh 7s Jonathan Edwards, has also signed a one-year deal.
Scarlets Chief Executive Stuart Gallacher said: "I am absolutely delighted to announce the extensions of the contracts of the players concerned which along with the long term contracts of the senior players already in place, will ensure when we move to our fantastic new stadium we will have a core of very established Scarlets players in place."
A quartet of Scarlets Academy players have been elevated to the regional squad for the early part of the season while the World Cup takes place.
Flankers Nic Cudd (from Ponthenri) and Josh Turnball (Newcastle Emlyn) along with centre Rhys Williams (Burry Port) and fullback Daniel Evans (Ammanford) have been in the academy for two years and all have played for Wales U16, U18 and U19. Daniel made his Scarlets debut against Connacht as an 18-year-old in the last game of last season.
Director of Rugby Phil Davies added; "I have always placed a heavy emphasis on planning within your own playing group. We've got plenty of talent within the Scarlets region who have developed outstandingly well over the years and when you add the experienced players to the equation, it offers the Scarlets' future plenty of stability. With the current crop of Scarlets involved, I'm sure we can produce a new and exciting future with the Scarlets."
