Evans, who is a pro-active student of the game says:
"I try to base my game on a combination of Dwayne Peel and Byron Kelleher, and there's no better goal kicker than Jonny Wilkinson. I'd like to think that I have a good running game, but also try to focus on my service to the ten."
"I'm really pleased to have signed for the Cardiff Blues and to return to Wales. They look like a squad that are improving every year so it looks like it could be an exciting season ahead," said Evans.
Speaking of the signing Cardiff Blues Chief Executive Robert Norster said:
"We're delighted to welcome Luke back to Wales and give him an opportunity to further his career with the Cardiff Blues in the country where he spent much of his early life."
"He is a quality young player and will improve the strength in depth we have here at the Arms Park," added Norster.
