McCall names Ulster side to play Ospreys

Ospreys have had a disappointing start to their season with two successive defeats so far, although they have won their last four matches against Irish opposition. The Ulster backline sees some interesting combinations with Simon Danielli and Mark McCrea on the wings and Seamus Mallon partnering Tommy Bowe in the centre. David Humphreys returns from injury to play at number 10. The front row has no changes from the side that played Gloucester and the only change in the back row is the inclusion of Kieron Dawson ahead of David Pollock who is named on the bench. In the replacements Justin Harrison returns from injury.

Ryan Caldwell who is starting in the second row said this of the game : "Ospreys are always a tough side to come up against even with the World Cup they still have some great players competing. The likes of Gavin Henson who has played at International level is likely to play. The first match of the season is always tough as you want to get off to a good start. Especially as we have a string of away games after Ospreys we really want to put in a good performance to carry us through and keep the momentum going while we're away. The support we get in the Magners League is great - The Ulster supporters provide such a good community spirit and all the supporters really get behind the team"
