The Dragons have named their side with Richard Mustoe, Andy Williams, Adam Jones and Richard Parks all making their Dragons debuts.
Looking ahead to Saturday's East versus West clash Andy Williams said, "We are expecting a tough game down at Stradey Park as any team who travels down there would. We travel with a fresh squad who are relishing playing at the home of the Scarlets and we travel knowing we can get a result. A lot has been said about how we haven't performed on the road but we have every confidence we can get a victory. It is a tough place to go but we will thrive on it.
"The whole squad has had a great pre season and all the coaches have been switched onto the players needs so all boxes are ticked going into the game."
On the replacements bench former Scarlets prop Hugh Gustafson is named alongside The Dragons other two new signings Gareth McCarthy and Wayne Evans.
Luke Charteris will skipper the side for Saturday's clash as The Dragons look to secure their first win at Stradey Park in four league attempts and one Celtic Cup game.
