The 20 year old fly half who has been part of the Ulster Rugby Academy for just over a year began training with the senior Ulster team during the summer and has so far earned himself six Ulster Caps including four starts for his province.
Educated at Limavady Grammar Niall who plays his club rugby for Belfast Harlequins has been on the Ulster Rugby radar for some time now having represented Ulster Schools, Ulster U19 and Ireland U19. Niall was part of the Irish U19 squad that won the 2006 U19 Six Nations Trophy.
Niall is delighted to have secured his future at Ravenhill and is clearly relishing the chance to play alongside some former and current Internationals:
"At the minute I'm still learning and hopefully will continue to progress so it's great to be able to ask questions to the likes of David Humphreys, Paul Steinmetz and Paddy Wallace. I think that a lot just comes with experience though and I've been lucky enough to have had the opportunity to gain a lot of that over the past few months which has helped my confidence grow."
