The win has put us on the map and in a position to qualify. But it is important we don't build it up to something that it isn't. We have not won or achieved anything yet and not qualified for the quarter-finals.
The clear message from us is we won't be getting carried away, otherwise there will a case of another false dawn or we've bottled it again. We have read all the headlines in the past and don't want to go there again.
It's back to the bread and butter of the Magners League for today's match and as they say 'you're only as good as your last game'. We've got to make sure that we keep backing it up and putting in a good performance against the Dragons today and the Ospreys on New Year's Eve.
The Welsh derbies are always big occasions, and form is immaterial in these type of matches. They are one off games that can go either way regardless of whether a team is playing well or not. All the Welsh rivalry is still there and all the players enjoy the contest.
It's quite an intense time over the Christmas period. We will obviously have to make full use of our squad, as there's only four days between the Ospreys and Edinburgh game. It is a testing period and we have to hope we don't pick up any injuries.
The preparation time isn't great as there are only a few days between all the games so the emphasis will be on recovery rather than training. These games are very important in whether teams do well or not in the Magners League.
We had a good win at Rodney Parade at the start of the season and I expect them to want to come here to avenge that result. We played really well that day and I'm sure they will want to come here and spoil our party. They probably think we are a bit vulnerable at the minute because we've played well and we've got to make sure that we are not over confident.
Although we have the confidence and the belief that we can win we also know that the Dragons are capable of coming to the Arms Park and getting the result. We've got to make sure that our preparation is spot on and we are at our best.
