Zebo scored two tries in his seven RaboDirect PRO12 appearances this season and played a key role in helping Munster to the semi-final of the European Cup.
The youngster's selection takes the number of players in the Lions squad who featured in the RaboDirect PRO12 to 26 and while he admitted it was a dream come true to get the call-up, he's desperate to play his part Down Under.
"I'm absolutely over the moon. It is the best news I could ever have dreamed of. As a professional rugby player the ultimate goal is to be a British and Irish Lion," he said.
"Hopefully I'll get the chance to do that if I get my cap. That is something I have to work towards now."
