This kept Fusaro out for five months but the flanker is set to make his return in a Warriors shirt after being named alongside current Player of the Year Niko Matawalu in their squad for the Glasgow City Sevens Cup.
And the flanker paid tribute to the Warriors' coaching staff for getting him back out on the pitch again.
"It has been a really tough season but the most important thing for me has been to stay positive," he said.
"Gregor Townsend and the rest of the coaching staff and everyone at the club have been really positive and that has been a huge help."
