A 20-point haul in the 25-15 victory over Connacht was followed up with all of his side's points in the 18-10 triumph over Munster, with both wins getting the Scarlets into fourth place in their pursuit of a play-off place.
His performance against Munster in particular belied his tender years as he outshone opposite number Ronan O'Gara, slotting a crucial drop goal in the manner that the 127-cap Irishman so often does.
Rewarded with another start against Leinster in a match that will again considerably affect the play-off race, Williams continues to ensure Rhys Priestland's continued injury absence is not the problem it could be.
And while it has been his kicking that has marked him out, Williams believes he can prove he is a man for all seasons in the Scarlets' run-in.
"I like to think that I can adapt my game according to the conditions," said Williams.
"When you need to kick from hand I'm happy to put my foot through it but I also love to get the ball in hand whenever it is possible.
"The forwards are putting us in good positions and fortunately I have been able to kick the goals.
"It has been fantastic to get out there in the RaboDirect PRO12 and to be named the man of the match is great but the team comes first.
"We've been happy with our performances recently and we've been getting the results which we wanted to get ourselves on track for the play-offs.
"We've got a good amount of home games remaining in the RaboDirect PRO12 and that's good for us, we're desperate to get there after just missing out last season."
With Priestland out injured, it means Williams is playing a senior role for the Scarlets, although in all likelihood, the 26-year-old would be on international duty if he was fit, meaning his under-study would be making the step up regardless.
And Williams revealed Priestland has been playing a key role in his development.
"Having Rhys around is a great help for me, we're always going through kicking training and things like that and he's just great to have around the club for me," added Williams.
"If he was fit he'd be away with Wales so it's not really a case of his injury helping me, but obviously while you don't want to see people injured, I need to be ready to step in when called on.
"I just want to keep on showing what I can do when I get the game time but it's about the team and making sure that we can get to the play-offs come the end of the season."
