With four crucial games in a row in the RaboDirect PRO12 campaign ahead, the Scarlets have connected with partners in the region to take the squad away from their training base and get into the heart of their community ahead of the big games.
A break from tradition to train outside Parc y Scarlets mid season, the entire Scarlets squad will take work away from their training ground with a change of scenery and options for team building that will challenge and refresh players' minds and spirits after an intense rugby season.
Scarlets Head Coach Simon Easterby said: "It's about challenging our players in new environments, keeping minds and bodies fresh after weeks of training without a break between games as well as going back to our roots in the community - linking with clubs, young players and our supporters.
"It's good to mix things up a bit sometimes and for the players to spend extended time together as a team away from home.
"We're lucky to have such a supportive region, with partners companies and clubs that are eager to work with us - and luckily for us within our region we have in Pembrokeshire some of the best outdoor space, coastal environment and scenery that Wales has to offer.
"We'll plan in some physically and mentally challenging team building activities as well as our structured training sessions which will be held at Narberth RFC. It will be an excellent way to prepare for Munster after our game against Connacht on Friday night as we push on during the international window to get a hold on a top four place in the league."
Wales and Scarlets outside half international Rhys Priestland will be joining up with his colleagues for the camp and meeting supporters at the Blue Lagoon water park at Bluestone.
Rhys and the squad will be poolside at the water park to sign shirts and meet supporters between 6pm and 7pm on Monday (11th February).
The squad will also train at Narberth RFC as well as hold club evening and meet the players events at Narberth and Tenby RFC on Tuesday 12th February from 5pm.
There will be chances for team building activities at Bluestone and outward-bound challenges on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
Kate Jenkins, Scarlets Community Manager said: "We are grateful to two of our thriving community clubs Narberth RFC and Tenby RFC for hosting us in Pembrokeshire and it will be a great chance for our players to meet up with the junior sections and help run some community sessions and hopefully inspire some of our younger regional players.
"The response we get from our supporters in Pembrokeshire is always amazing and it's great for our community department to get the opportunity to work with our whole squad in our community part way through the season.
"We hoping to get a great response from supporters and look forward to meeting up with our many Scarlets supporters in Pembrokeshire."
The Scarlets would like to thank Plas Hyfryd Country Hotel for hosting Scarlets team lunch and Bluestone National Park Resort which provides a perfect base for the players and coaches to prepare, work and relax after the rigors of training.
