Having impressed during the club's LV= Cup campaign Williams was handed his league chance and put in a performance that left head coach Simon Easterby hinting he'd keep his place when Munster visit Parc y Scarlets.
And Williams, who played much of his age-grade rugby in Ospreys colours, is keen to continue to show what he can do.
"I have been really pleased to get a few starts, but it is also nice that we have had a couple of wins - it's an important part of our season." Williams told the South Wales Evening Post.
"You don't get many opportunities in professional rugby so when they come you have got to try and make the most of it."
Scarlets have a fitness doubt over wing Kristian Phillips, but Easterby is confident he will be fit as he targets victory over Munster.
"We've been lucky with injuries - we've not got any new serous concerns," he said. "Kristian Phillips took a bump to the shoulder but it doesn't look too bad.
"We're building a bit of momentum now, and we have to keep that going against Munster."
