Williams has been one of the major plusses for the Welsh region since the turn of the year and has now bagged 59 points in the last three matches which have also seen the Scarlets set up victories over Leicester and Connacht.
But while he is happy to be playing a starring role, Williams insists he wouldn't be able to do it if it wasn't for the forwards setting up the games.
"The forwards are putting us in good positions and fortunately I have been able to kick the goals," said Williams.
"They are setting the platform and we are having a bit of an armchair ride. It is nice to reward them with some points.
"It was vital we beat Munster, we have pulled away from them a bit and we have now got to keep building for the next couple of weeks."
