Scott Williams suffered a recurrence of a shoulder problem that has plagued him this season while Liam Williams did not return from his sin-binning with a tight hamstring.
And while Easterby's side's season is now over, with a Wales tour to prepare for there is still much work for the medical staff to be getting on with.
"It was a bit of a battlefield out there - all of them will be assessed in the next 48 hours," said Easterby.
"Rhys felt something in there, which he had not for ages. He made the call not to start.
"It was a bit of a disruption but Owen Williams has gone well for us. He's been a stand out player the last couple of months - his kicking in previous games got us into this position and he did very well again, credit to him.
"This will make us that more hungry to go on next season and repeat our semi-final appearance and make sure we learn from these games.
"It's been a good year in many ways. We've learnt a lot about ourselves as a team.
"It's important we take heart from that into next season and making the play-offs was a target and an achievement."
