Treviso return to the Ravenhill Stadium where, on 7th October 2011, they won 12-23, thanks to Kris Burton's try and a penalty try: that was the only time Ulster were beaten from an Italian team.
The other previous matches were unfortunate for the Treviso side, especially in the two most recent ones.
On 24th March last year, Antonio Pavanello and his mates surrendered to the Heineken Cup runner-ups because of Whitten's last-minute try which took the final score 27-23 to the Irish.
The latest match was played last 23rd November at the Monigo Stadium: despite Brendan Williams's and Ludovico Nitoglia's tries, Treviso lost 15-16.
The forecast is more favourable to Ulster, if we consider the number of Treviso's away wins and Ulster's home defeats.
Treviso have won abroad just once, against Edinburgh on 5th October, while Ulster was beaten at Ravenhill only by Ospreys in RaboDirect PRO12 Round 14.
Franco Smith lines up the same back players as last Sunday against Munster, with the exception of Andrea Pratichetti, who is replaced by Luca Morisi.
Brendan Williams will play his 229th game with Benetton Treviso, just two less of Gianni Zanon, who is at the seventh place in the all-time table.
As for the pack, Franco Smith will be able to rely on some players released from Italy, and so lining up again Christian Loamanu as No. 8, but with Robert Barbieri and Dean Budd as flankers.
Captain Corniel Van Zyl and Valerio Bernabò are confirmed as locks: tomorrow's match will be Bernabò 50th presence with Treviso.
In the front row, hooker Franco Sbaraglini is playing together with props Alberto De Marchi and Lorenzo Cittadini.
