"I played 100 games with Chunk and he is a friend of mine," Scott told the Scotsman.
"I feel honoured to be coaching that team for his last game. That meant a lot to me.
"All the time I've been involved I've never enjoyed the last 20 minutes of a game - that includes when I was at Sale.
"I thought it was going to happen, but it didn't turn out to be like that.
"It's frustrating because they are doing a lot of good stuff. It's simple mistakes"
