The defeat means Zebre remain winless after 19 games and have only three more ties to secure their maiden victory in the competition.
But whatever the results against Cardiff Blues, Leinster and Munster Ferrarini is convinced next season Zebre will be a much tougher proposition.
"There is very little needed for the win, we are putting in a lot of character and heart," insisted the 22-year-old. "Perhaps sometimes we have lost concentration in the final moments and we need to be more clinical at times in attack.
"There are three games left, our season goes on and we will keep trying to get that first victory. For next year we have some great bases in place, nobody will underestimate us next year, either at home or away."
The Parma-born forward has appeared in 13 PRO12 games for Zebre this season, tasting defeat each time. But he plans to remain at Zebre for the next 12 months - and get that first victory under his belt.
"I think that I'll spend at least another year as I have another year on my contract," added Ferrarini. "For that I'm grateful to the coaching staff who have believed in me and given me a lot of time on the pitch.
"I've been able to show in my performances that I deserved this faith in me."
