Wales ran out 22-10 winners in New Zealand, sandwiching Irish defeats in both the 2011 and 2012 Six Nations.
And while insisting that the rivalry between the two nations has not yet become 'nasty', Best is eager to turn the tables sooner rather than later.
"When you lose to a team you double your effort to make sure you don't lose the next time you play each other," said hooker Best.
"We've been on the wrong side of the results in the last three games and we badly want to put the record straight.
"Wales probably feel they have a bit of a number on us, but we won the previous two games before losing three.
"It hasn't got nasty, but we're not happy with our recent record."
