The Irish region face a trip to Cardiff Arms Park to face Cardiff Blues - a team they recorded their biggest victory of the season over back in October with a 59-22 mauling.
But with the likes of Brian O'Driscoll, Jonathan Sexton and Jamie Heaslip currently turning out for Ireland in the Six Nations, Boss intends to ensure Leinster are similarly well-placed upon their return.
And although confident in the depth of the squad, the New-Zealand born half-back is wary of the rising talent that is Rhys Patchell, someone who didn't feature in the first encounter last year.
"They will have been very disappointed with their last performance against us but I don't think it will be anything to go by this time," said Boss.
"They have had a couple of good wins against Sale in the Heineken Cup and Munster down at Musgrave Park and at the weekend in the LV= Cup so they will be itching to put things right.
"We are missing a few players, as are they, but we have a lot of depth and the exciting part is it creates chances for other guys and many want to put their hands up.
"They have some great young players coming through like Copeland and Rhys Patchell. He didn't play in the first game and has looked very good and will be looking to impress against us.
"We have had a few weeks off now and even watching the Irish boys doing well at the weekend just makes you want to get out there for another run out and we have recharged our batteries and we want to hit the ground running for the next four weeks.
"We have fought back well in the league to get into the top three but we have to start consolidating that position and get these wins and that is up to this group of guys when the others are away in the Six Nations to get things right for when they return."
