And while the Dragons' play-off hopes ended long ago, Edwards believes the reigning Heineken Cup champions will take some stopping in their bid to claim a third RaboDirect PRO12 title.
"Leinster went off like rockets, played some brilliant rugby and put us on the back foot," said Edwards.
"Leinster showed that they are a quality side and - there was a tidal wave against us in the first 15 minutes."
