Davies has been out of action since suffering an ankle injury in training in January having appeared eight times for the Blues in the competition this season.
However, he has defied predictions the injury would end his season and is set to return to action against Scarlets this weekend.
In more good news Cuthbert, who damaged a hamstring against England last month, is back running again and Blues director of rugby Phil Davies expects him to return to action against Ulster on May 3.
"Alex has been running which is good but he has obviously lost a bit of power in his hamstring," Davies told Wales Online.
"If he was ready to play then he will and we are confident he will be ready for selection against Ulster.
"Bradley will be available this weekend.
"It is good to see him back because he has worked exceptionally hard on his rehabilitation and fitness. He is ready to play and very excited."
