With the Dragons second-bottom in the table, the talented No.8 is said to have attracted the attention of clubs in the English Premiership and France's Top 14, but he is adamant he will remain a Dragon for another season at least.
"I've still got another year at the Dragons so I'm not sure where the speculation has come from," the 22-year-old told Wales Online.
"I'm still there next season, I've got another year left.
"I'm not sure what my options are, I'm not sure whether I will leave Wales. There's a lot of time between now and the end of my contract.
"The Welsh boys in France say it is great out there. Everyone is different I guess.
"But I owe the Dragons a huge amount. They gave me the chance that brought me to Wales."
Faletau is currently on Six Nations duty with the Welsh side, and will start at Rome's Stadio Olimpico against Italy on Saturday.
But he will have his eye on Dragons' own Italian trip when they face the only side below them in the table, Zebre, at Stadio XXV Aprile on Sunday.
The Dragons will be determined to bounce back to winning ways after suffering a 60-3 defeat last time out at home to Glasgow Warriors.
"It wasn't the best was it?" he admitted.
"It wasn't a great result but I'm sure they are looking to the next game now and moving on."
