However six of the Scarlets' remaining nine games are on home soil with back-to-back games at Parc y Scarlets against Connacht and Munster next up in February.
The Scarlets have also lost all five of their Heineken Cup fixtures this season, with Leinster running in five tries to seal a 33-14 bonus-point win in Dublin on Saturday.
But Easterby insists there was plenty of encouragement to take from the defeat ahead of their next clash with Clermont - and is hoping it can help inspire them to get their season back on track.
"We have a lot of home games in the RaboDirect PRO12 in the final part of the season that can regain us some ground," said Easterby.
"There is a lot more from us as a team and we haven't seen enough of the quality we have as yet and we are working hard to put that right.
"We will obviously be under pressure in the next couple weeks with many of our players going to international duty but that also gives other players the opportunity to make a mark for themselves.
"I can't fault the effort in that performance, we didn't get the result but what was put in should not be underplayed. Sometimes you don't get the rewards that you deserve.
"We will take pride in how the players approached the game in terms of commitment and effort - what we have to look at is how we approach the game in terms of accuracy and execution."
