The victory left Copeland and co just two points behind Toulon at the top of pool two with just two games remaining in the group stages.
And Copeland believes most of the credit can go to McIntosh, who joined the staff from Pontypridd over the summer.
"He's a very passionate man and you do it for him when you are out there," Copeland told WalesOnline.
"You are also playing for the guys next to you and you really have to work your socks off.
"You don't want to let anybody down. He says, if you do slip-up, there should always someone there to cover your back and it's working for us. To keep Glasgow to one score was brilliant."
