The XV of the North-West of Italy is back in front of its home crowd after a month of absence looking for their first home win, where they ahve come up just short on several occasions at Stadio XXV Aprile in Parma. The kick-off will be at 3 pm local time, while the game will be refereed by French referee Alexandre Ruiz. As it happens, the last edition of the Italian derby played in Parma 12 months ago was also refereed by a French ref, Laurent Cardona.
At the end of the Captain's Run of this morning at the Rugby's Citadel of Parma fields, the white & black coaching staff composed by Andrea Cavinato, Umberto Casellato and Vincenzo Troiani decided the list of capped player and the starting line-up to face the other Italian side who are now coached by South-african coach Marius Goosen.
Zebre Rugby head coach Andrea Cavinato is really focused on the second leg of the Italian derby: "We want it to be a revenge for all purposes: we want to win this game with all our strength and our will. Our several players' absences should not be an excuse, but a motivation to go beyond our limits. We hope that what we saw last week in Treviso doesn't have to be repeated".
