Cardiff's European campaign has seen them win three games and finish second in Pool Two, only behind reigning champions Toulon.
Davies admitted he would love to enter the draw for the Amlin and continue what has been a season of great improvement for the club.
"The period we have had since the autumn has been the biggest progression we have had since I have come here," he told Wales Online.
"The players have been fantastic with the performances and the way they have cracked on.
"We have to build on this for the rest of the season, there is still a hell of a lot to play for. If we do get into the Amlin quarter-finals then brilliant but whatever happens we can look back on this campaign with a bit of satisfaction.
"I have always said that in Europe we are representing not just the region but Wales as well."
