Campagnaro has also caught the eye for Treviso in the RaboDirect PRO12 this season, making six appearances and scoring one try against Cardiff Blues in November.
He was one of three 20-year-olds in Brunel's back line on Saturday alongside fly-half Tommaso Allan and Treviso teammate Angelo Esposito who made his debut on the wing.
And Brunel believes that with the likes of Campagnaro, who won his third cap against Wales, at his disposal, the future is bright for Italy.
"We are lucky to have so many good young backs," said Brunel. "Our average was around 22 years old. They must take confidence from this if they want to be part of the 2015 World Cup.
"We are obviously happy with the way the forwards performed - they had some 600 caps between them. I would like to underline their performance."
