During the break from RaboDirect Pro12 competition the Scarlets have produced a mixed bag of results with victory away to Racing Metro in the Heineken Cup the main highlight.
And having come unstuck against their Italian opponents 22-20 on their last visit to Italy, Easterby has warned his side must be confident in their abilities to return home with a win.
"We've had some really good results against them but we're also aware that it's always a tricky journey out to Treviso and there have been times when we've come a little unstuck against them," said Easterby.
"There are a lot of players missing from both teams but hopefully we can go there and play with confidence.
"We have to have the ambition to get a result to keep going in this competition; unless we have that attitude it's going to be difficult to win. I'm confident we can do that."
