Following on from a six try bonus point victory over Benetton Treviso last weekend Scarlets centre Gareth Maule says that the squad are confident going into the challenge against Irish province Ulster.
Maule said: "We're feeling confident. We've trained in bad conditions today (Wednesday) which will prepare us well for Ravenhill as that place can throw extremes at you! There's a good mood amongst the squad going into the game."
"Ulster are a very good side and will undoubtedly have a number of their internationals back this weekend. The result will be down to how well we execute our game plan - that'll be the difference between winning and losing."
"If we allow their key decision makers to get into their full flow we'll be in for a long afternoon. They are very good at what they do but it'll up to us to counter that and stop it."
Scarlets take on Ulster on Friday 14th February, kick-off 7.05pm, at Ravenhill before heading back to Parc y Scarlets for back-to-back encounters against Edinburgh (Saturday 22nd February KO 2.30pm) and Munster (Saturday 1st March KO 6.30pm).
