The most recent of those wins was Saturday's 38-6 result over Treviso with the foundations laid after a rapid start which saw tries from Fion Carr, John Muldoon and Kieran Marmion - the latter marking his 50th Connacht appearance in style.
Muldoon added a second after the break with Eoin McKeon also crossing the whitewash as Connacht picked up a bonus-point win for the second successive outing following last weekend's 27-19 win over Zebre.
It moves them up to ninth in the league, leapfrogging the likes of Zebre, Treviso and latterly Cardiff Blues in recent weeks, with Lam quick to praise his players' efforts on Saturday.
"It was a very satisfying win, we have said all along that if the guys do their job and do it well, we will get the result and that's what happened," he said.
"Everyone pushed on and we got on top and delivered the result."
