Kellock is nearing a return from a long-term arm injury and should be back in RaboDirect PRO12 action soon.
But the lock admits he can't wait to see Weir back in action for the Warriors.
"He dropped into Scotstoun earlier in the week and he was bouncing and that is a great thing to see," Kellock told the Glasgow Evening Times.
"I think Duncy has benefited from the way that Eck (Alex) Dunbar and Matt Scott have really gelled as a centre pairing.
"They are taking a bit of pressure off Duncy and giving him a platform to play off and you can see that things are really starting to click there."
