Up until now Isles has only played 7s rugby - to great success as a wing with USA's programme - but he insists head coach Gregor Townsend and his staff have faith that he can make a smooth transition.
Isles also has an old 7s teammate in Folau Niua to keep him company at Scotstoun and he is confident that it won't take long before they both make their mark.
"It feels good to be here, I'm happy to be here and it's exciting," he told the club website. "It's a new chapter for me, a new page to my book and I'm excited to venture on and see how this goes.
"It's going to be all new for me and I believe I can be really successful in the XVs. I want to add more to my game and repertoire and show what I can do.
"The Warriors believed in me, there's great support over here and that's all I needed. I believe there's great things to come if I keep working hard. If I can be a team player then the sky's the limit.
"I have a teammate (Folau Niua) over here which made it even better but they just invested me and believed in my talent.
"Folau being here really helps me out a lot so we can feed on each other, learn from each other and help the team."
