It was a great morning for all the people involved, only the first step of the collaboration which sees the Zebre players wearing the hospital brand on the front of their shirt exclusively for the return derby in Parma in January.
Thanks to this great charity spirit, Marco Bortolami and his teammates achieved their first home win in front of a fully crowded venue: a day never to be forgotten by Zebre fans and the town of Parma.
The supporters were able to join the fund-raising programme participating in the auction for the jerseys worn on the XXV Aprile field by their beloved champions to support the activity of Children's Hospital of Parma directed by Dr. Giancarlo Izzi, chief of the Pediatrics and Oncology hematology departments.
During one the upcoming home games Zebre president Mr. Pier Luigi Bernabò will deliver the cheque to the hospital with the funds raised for the purchase of important machinery to enable the future well-being of the young patients of Parma.
