This was reduced by two weeks for mitigating factors, including the player's remorse for the incident both on the day of the match and subsequently through the media.
As a result, the ban ends at midnight on April 6, meaning Hogg will miss the Warriors' home matches against the Scarlets, Ospreys and Treviso but will be available for selection against Munster on April 12.
Hogg said: "I'm very sorry, I have let people down and apologise to my team-mates, the Scotland management and all Scotland supporters.
"I am disappointed to be missing three games but fully respect the committee's decision."
