The player was cited by the independent RaboDirect PRO12 Citing Commissioner appointed for the match between Scarlets and Benetton Treviso on 23 February at Parc y Scarlets.
The alleged incident took place in the 23rd minute of the second half of the match and involved the cited player lifting an opponent and dropping him to the ground contrary to Law 10.4 (j).
The independent RaboDirect PRO12 Disciplinary Committee will be chaired by Pat Barriscale and will also comprise Philip Orr and George Spotswood (all from Ireland).
