One of Munster's most consistent and experienced performers, O'Driscoll retired at the end of the 2011/12 season after making 207 Munster appearances over a 14-year period. The Cork-man began his career in August 1998 and made his Heineken Cup debut against Neath at Musgrave Park in September of that year. He went on to win 55 Heineken caps for Munster and 7 for Perpignan in the course of a two season stint with the French club. At international level he represented Ireland on 23 occasions.
On retirement the former second-row pursued a number of successful business opportunities, including Home Instead Senior Care, while also remaining in the rugby environment with coaching spells in PBC and Cork Con.
