Habberfield, 21, has had his own injury worries to contend with but has still made 11 appearances in the RaboDirect PRO12 this season.
And with Webb on the sidelines he hopes to show what he can do between now and the end of the season.
"It's just great to be getting game-time," Habberfield told the South Wales Evening Post.
"I was injured at the start of the season, but it's good to be trusted and the key thing for me is to repay the coaches' faith by playing well.
"They're a great team, well-drilled and with plenty of strength in depth.
"We need to match them physically but we have the team to do that and I think we are capable of securing a result. We can't write off the season.
"If we win our games we can put ourselves in the best place if other results go our way."
