It was 23rd September 2011 when Antonio Pavanello and his team gained their first hard-fought (final score was 13-15 to Treviso) win abroad in the Celtic tournament.
So far, Treviso won only one other match against the team coached by the former Scotland and British and Irish Lion kicker Gregor Townsend: it was 16th April 2011, and it was once again a narrow win (19-16), thanks to Willem De Waal's kicks and Robert Barbieri's try.
Three defeats, afterwards, for the Treviso side, the latter on 27th October 2012: the final score (24-13) was the result of Seymour's tries and Jackson's and Wight's kicks. Benetton Treviso, instead, scored points thanks to Tobie Botes's and Kris Burton's kicks and Manoa Vosawai's try.
Among the backs, Edoardo Gori is to play as scrum-half, and Andrea Pratichetti winger.
In the pack Corniel Van Zyl, Michele Rizzo and Lorenzo Cittadini are first string players, while Manoa Vosawai is back as flanker.
