Both sides remain in the hunt for a home play-off semi-final with second-placed Ulster currently five points clear of the Warriors in fourth.
Cusiter, 31, has already announced his intentions to quit Glasgow at the end of the season and move to Sale Sharks.
But the Scottish international, who also represented the British & Irish Lions on their 2005 tour of New Zealand, will be aiming to leave the Glaswegians with a RaboDirect PRO12 winner's medal around his neck.
And he says that this weekend's result will have a huge bearing on the title race.
"It will be absolutely massive for us," the Scottish international told The Courier.
"They got a good bonus point win against Connacht and in terms of the play-offs this week is huge.
"We won over in Belfast at the start of the season and didn't play well but both teams have obviously come on a lot since then, so this is crucial.
"The fact that we were the first team to win at Thomond this season made our victory very special."
