The Scotland international has made 82 appearances in the RaboDirect PRO12 and has played 26 times in Europe.
He made his 100th appearance for the Warriors against Toulon in the Heineken Cup in January.
Jackson has scored 443 points for the Warriors, with 403 of them coming from his boot.
The 26-year-old is a graduate of Scottish Rugby's National Academy and joined Glasgow in 2008.
Ruaridh Jackson said: "I've enjoyed my six years at the club and I'll take a lot of good memories with me.
"I'd like to thank everyone at the Warriors for supporting me during my time in Glasgow, this club will always mean a lot to me.
"I've had the opportunity to play in some massive games and I've played with so many quality players.
"There is still a lot of rugby to be played this season and I'm looking forward to some big games ahead."
Glasgow Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend said: "Ruaridh (Jackson) has been a fantastic ambassador for the club during his six years in Glasgow and been a key driver of the club's improvement in recent seasons.
"He became a centurion earlier this season, which shows how big a role he's played.
