Burton led the way with a try, two conversions, two penalties and a drop goal for a personal haul of 18 points to finally secure an away win in every country in the RaboDirect PRO12 this season, following up from victories at Glasgow, Ulster and Connacht.
And despite the Aironi situation Burton insists he and his Treviso teammates will continue to prove that they are a force to be reckoned with.
"Obviously we are delighted with the win," he said. "We had to work hard for it as we let them score a few tries near the end which made it a lot closer than we wanted to.
"But I think both sides fought hard and we got away with a win at the end.
"I think we have always come close to winning in Wales before and we won in Glasgow this year and in Ulster as well so our time was coming.
"We had to put it all together in Wales which we have done and thankfully we did it.
"With the Aironi situation I don't think anyone knows what is going on so we will have to wait until the end of the season and see what happens.
"But we just have to concentrate on our game and go forward each week, learn from each week and play good rugby."
