Over 80 youngsters' from all corners of the region attended the camps and had loads of fun with the oval ball whilst also meeting and training alongside the Dragons squad.
"We have built up a loyal following over the years, our supporters know the high standards of the camps we provide and have faith in our ability to draw out the best from their children," said a proud Community Manager Mike Sage.
Janice Chappell is also very highly involved in delivering the holiday programme of activities and she was pleased to point out that the numbers have increased on an annual basis.
"We are having great time in finding new skills and drills for the kids to enjoy," said a beaming Janice. "And we will continue to do so just to make sure that our camps are the best around."
Lunch time was also a buzz with activities as Education Officer, Mr Phil James quizzed the youngsters on their rugby knowledge. This always goes down well as the kids show just how much they know.
The one-day camps were also visited by many Dragons players including Wales star and Dragons captain Andrew Coombs, Lions star, Taulupe Faletau and at the end of each day players, namely; Sam Parry, Nic Cudd, Hugh Gustafson and Lewis Evans made the end-of-course presentations.
However, the Community Staff don't have much time to rest on their laurels as they prepare to do it all over again for the more in depth development programme of the three day summer camps in July and August.
Camp dates will be posted on www.newportgwentdragons.com within the next fortnight or contact mike.sage@rodneyparadeltd.com for more information.
