Edinburgh ready for 2013-14 RaboDirect PRO12 Awards ceremony

Last year, the award winners were perhaps unsurprisingly dominated by Ulster, having topped the regular season table after 22 rounds, but with an enthralling finish in store for this season's RaboDirect PRO12, this year's winners are anyone's guess.

Twelve months ago it was Ulster man mountain Nick Williams who scooped the prestigious Players' Player of the Season gong while teammate Luke Marshall was named the Young Player of the Season.

Andrew Trimble won Try of the Season and in collecting the Specsavers Fairplay Award, Ulster celebrated a successful night in Dublin.

Gregor Townsend was named Coach of the Season after guiding Glasgow Warriors to semi-finals while Leinster's Ian Madigan won the Rhino Golden Boot award.

Connacht's Michael Swift was honoured with the Chairman's Award in recognition of his outstanding service to both his province and the tournament as a whole.

The Scarlets took over from Glasgow Warriors as winners of the 'Rhino Collision Kings' title after a panel of experts assessed their efficiency at the breakdown and tackling while Alun Wyn Jones took over from Nigel Owens as the winner of the 'RaboDirect Straight Talking' title.
