The 21-year-old Pentyrch RFC graduate already has a wealth of experience, including three international caps, and is on course to become the youngest ever player to achieve the honour of 50 regional appearances in Blues colours.
Winning the Cardiff Blues Academy Player of the Year Award in 2010-11 was only the tip of the iceberg; in the same season he became the youngest ever player to represent the Cardiff Blues as he lined up against regional rivals Ospreys in an LV= Cup clash at 17 years and nine months and also represented Wales U18s and Wales U20s in the same season.
International honours beckoned in 2012 with Robinson scoring a try in his debut game for Wales against the Barbarians at the Millennium Stadium. Two more appearances, and a try, came on the 2013 summer tour to Japan.
Scarlets Head Coach Simon Easterby confirmed the addition of young winger Harry Robinson to the region's squad for the new season and said he is an exciting addition to the group. He said: "Harry is an exciting player who has shown great potential on both the regional and international scene at a young age.
"We've seen what he can do for the Blues, Wales Under 20s and of course scored a try on his international debut. We believe Harry will thrive in our young and ambitious environment but will also benefit from playing alongside a world-class and experienced player like Regan King.
"He's an ambitious player who has great pace and the supporters can look forward to what he can bring next season in addition to existing Scarlets talent in the back three."
The young winger will bring an exciting edge to the Scarlets' three-quarters, which includes international fullback Liam Williams, fast-footed former Wales Under 20s winger Jordan Williams and Kristian Phillips.
Robinson will be joining a talented backline at the Scarlets which includes All Blacks international Regan King, who returns to the region for the 2014-15 season, Wales internationals - centre Scott Williams, outside half Rhys Priestland and scrum half Rhodri Williams as well as current RaboDirect PRO12 top try scorer for 2013-14 scrum half Gareth Davies.
Pacey winger Robinson is looking forward to joining the West Wales region and linking up with some of Wales' most exciting talents, he said: "The Scarlets play an exciting brand of rugby which I'm excited to be a part of. They are known for playing running rugby and there's a lot of youth down there - boys like Jordan, Kristian and Sanjay (Liam Williams).
"There's also a great group of more experienced players staying with the region and Regan King is coming back too. A number of the guys I've spoken to have said he's the best player they've ever played with so I'm looking forward to playing with him."
Robinson, if selected, will make his 50th appearance for the Cardiff Blues on Saturday in the last game of the season - against Scarlets at the Parc. He went on to say: "I'm looking forward to Saturday - if I feature it will be a nice way to finish with the Blues. I had an injury a couple of months back and I wasn't sure if I'd feature. There's such a nice group of boys here, winning my 50th cap on Saturday would round things of nicely."
With three international caps under his belt Robinson went on to say that featuring on the international scene once again was ambition; "I'm not looking too much passed this weekend to be honest but Wales is always in the back of your mind. I'm looking to get a good pre-season under my belt with the Scarlets and come back raring to go for the new season."
