Warriors skipper Al Kellock has already spoken about how a victory on Saturday would restore pride for rugby in Scotland and it's fair to say that when he talks, people listen.
The 32-year-old will make his 159th Celtic League appearance on Saturday, and 11th of the season, and he has been fundamental to the Warriors' fine recent run.
A no-nonsense second row, who has played a key role in the development of second row partner Jonny Gray, Kellock has been inspirational in guiding the Warriors to nine straight wins in the RaboDirect PRO12.
Scotland's loss very much appears to be Glasgow's gain and Gregor Townsend can sleep easy knowing that Kellock will set the tone for the Warriors at the RDS on Saturday.
- 2 days to go - Glasgow Warriors have lost to Leinster at the RDS in their last two play-off outings
Up against him however, will be Devin Toner - the Leinster lighthouse who is at the peak of his powers at present.
Standing at 6ft 10ins, the 27-year-old is unsurprisingly a huge asset for Matt O'Connor's men at the lineout but his work all around the pitch this season has particularly caught the eye.
Under Joe Schmidt's guidance Toner, who has made 12 RaboDirect PRO12 appearances this season, has formed a fine second row partnership with Ireland skipper Paul O'Connell on the international stage.
And for Leinster, he and Mike McCarthy have been taking over the mantle from Leo Cullen.
History tells us that there will be little between these sides on Saturday which will make the set-piece battle all the more significant.
Whoever comes out on top between these two could well find themselves celebrating at the final whistle.
