For Leinster, Jimmy Gopperth has received the nod in the No.10 shirt, despite Ian Madigan's heroics, showing just how much faith Matt O'Connor has in the New Zealander.
And the 30-year-old has been a key addition for the province, bringing some experience table following the departure of Jonathan Sexton last summer.
Indeed, Gopperth has appeared in 21 of Leinster's 23 RaboDirect PRO12 matches so far this season, starting 12 of them, and he has amassed 156 points.
Formerly with the Hurricanes and the Blues, Gopperth shone for five years at Newcastle Falcons before O'Connor saw the opportunity to snap him up for Leinster.
- 1 day to go - This is the first RaboDirect PRO12 Final in which a team from Scotland has taken part
While Gopperth provides experience and nous for Leinster, his opposite number on Saturday is all about youthful exuberance.
Finn Russell has arguably been the find of the RaboDirect PRO12 season. The 21-year-old didn't make his first Warriors start until November - against the Dragons - but since then he has gone from strength to strength.
Jumping ahead of Duncan Weir and Ruaridh Jackson in the pecking order, Russell - who is also comfortable at outside centre - has started seven of the Warriors' last nine matches, all of which have resulted in victories.
In 2013, he was part of the John Macphail Scholarship, in which he spent 15 weeks in New Zealand, playing for local clubs in and around Christchurch and having already earned himself a contract for next season, Russell will be looking to finish the season in style.
