But, with two semi-finals to go alongside the final spot in the last three years, Hogg believes it just a matter of time before the Warriors reach the top.
"I'm happy at Glasgow, it's a club going in the right direction," said Hogg.
"We've been in two semi-finals and a final in the last three years.
"So, it's a club going in the right direction. Hopefully next year we can get that win."
Hogg found it difficult to break into the Glasgow first team towards the end of the season after losing his spot to fellow Scot Peter Murchie.
But, despite not being first choice for Gregor Townsend, Hogg was quick to praise the form of Murchie who he believes fully deserved his starting berth.
"A lot of the pressure's been put on me for not performing but, at the end of the day, Peter Murchie has been playing out of his skin," said the 21-year-old.
"He's taken his chances when they've been on offer. Credit where credit's due, he's been spot on in his play and I can't grumble being stuck behind him."
